Empowered to Connect Conference
Time & Location
About The Event
The Empowered to Connect Conference focuses on helping caregivers, educators and professionals to understand the affects of abuse and neglect on children's development. It focuses not just on why children behave the way they do, but more importantly, how we can better recognize and respond to their needs.
Featuring Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) methods developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University. TCU exists to bring attachment and connection in families. The nationwide participation in the Empowered to Connect Conference is a testament to the impact and work of Dr. Karyn Purvis.
