Young Adults Ministry
The Trend is an urban fellowship of the Coalition for Christian Outreach at New Life Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. We desire to create contexts where young adults can bring a gospel impact for the kingdom of God to the church, their community, and their lives. In short we are seeking to transform the emerging generation for the lasting trend of God’s kingdom.

The Mission: To provide young adults the context to experience: 
- biblical exploration: knowing God’s Word in a postmodern context.
- sincere relationships with other young adults
- relationships with other believers
- tangible expressions of kingdom living through service
The Vision: In their growth towards Christ-formation, we pray that young adults will
- live on the basis of their identity as children of God.
- understand the gospel of God’s kingdom and its implications for all of life.
- have a network of peers that will encourage them.
- have a commitment to their church and to their neighborhood.
- seek out someone to care for them while caring for others.
- further their gifts.
- effectively share Christ’s mercy to those not committed to Jesus.
- analyze culture, celebrating God’s grace.
